Our record is actually over four decades now of sticking our head in the traps!

Over 60 years ago Ike told us who would come out the winner in these various actions.

I notice that the Syria trap is much bigger than the other two.

The very point is that Obama HAS learned from past mistakes. Thus the reasoned but effective response.

Good thing nobody is proposing a war on Syria.

A good many of our current MIddle East “problems” WERE caused by the lunacy of Bush- GHW Bush, and his failure to tell Saddam NOT to invade Kuwait, which greatly added to the instability level, back in ’91.

But, having friends around the world who’ve commented on our administrations, it’s “W”, and his lies, and ignorance, and his reelection, that made the USA a “laughingstock” around the world.

Obama has greatly improved our image, and NOT immediately pulling the trigger in every situation IS regarded by most of the world as intelligent. Their disappointment in Obama now, is the same as mine, in submitting to the push to bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb IRAN! Which is the real drive from the right, even as they say, "Oh, don’t bomb Syria now! Even though we have been pushing for it for two years and long BEFORE any “chemical weapons” entered the scene."

I expect that USA/Nato action will be done via remote control, as happened most effectively in Libya.
