It’s time for the U.S. as a nation, not any administration, to stop drawing lines on foreign policy, when it’s none of our business. BUT, the business of the Military Industrial Complex, whether using OUR equipment, or selling to the likes of Egypt et al, is the “Business of foreign policy” in the U.S., for Republicans, Democrats, LIbertarians, and “Independents” with only a few exceptions. Those who ARE the exceptions, find it very difficult to get campaign funding, or “support”.

    “Sorry, Syrians.”

Well put. But, you know, we’re much more humane when we kill, so the Syrians—since they have to die anyway—would prefer that we be the ones to take them out.

Parliament learned a lesson from Bush/Cheney and Blair: they’re just demanding better “proofs”, and I don’t blame them. A friend in Britain spoke during the war of the flag draped coffins he saw coming back, and the resentment the Brits held for “the lie”. BTW, they also did a better job of getting along with the folks down in the south, than we did! Restoring the wetlands in the south, and aiding the Shia down there was one of the few smart post-war moves the west made!

^^ Now that “skipthebrains”, is no only pathetic, but evidence of a bitterness flushed from pure ignorance, but fertilized with pure “GOPergoo”.

Where are all the Bush bashers on this topic? Like Clark Kent and Radish along with their ilk.! You know “Bush lied, babies died” crowd. So the new mantra should be “Kerry contrived, Syrians died” Yeah! Thats the ticket.
