Besides, the hotel may not allow him to have his dog there.

Um, how’d he get through the U.S. immigration and customs without his passport?

Did Guido immigrate from Steve Canyon or Mark Trail? Maybe Mary Worth? Because he sure doesn’t look like he’s from GA.

Assuming connecting flight, he still would have had it in a checked bag so he would not have had it at customs. Unless they make you recheck your bag after you enter the US. Still, any traveler knows to carry some cash and their ID/Passport on them at all times.

Was he really in Italy? With cell phones, he could have been anywhere.

What David B said — he probably wasn’t in Italy at all.

I still can’t figure out who Guido looks like. Looks familiar as hell.

Slim is finally showing frustration. He is an unusually patient man. Most would have been fed up long before this. Have Gretchen put on her chastity belt and lock her door. Guido can sleep on the couch or floor with the dog.
