One difference…America doesn’t target innocent civilians like Assad did.

^Tell that to the thousands in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan we graciously called “collateral damage”…

You must be kidding. You think Assad is now using chemical weapons from Iraq from a decade ago. Any evidence of that you would care to share?

The punishment is of course being pointed out in the ‘toon AS the crime, and all the right wingnuts can do is whine "but he hit me first’, which of course isn’t true at all, as just as with Iraq and Afghanistan, the people of Syria, even that scum Assad, has never attacked the U.S. . Now the historical fact, with the USS Liberty, is of course that our “bestest friends” DID attack us, but that don’t count!

Perhaps we should have done something about Assad sooner, like well, nuke the entire Middle East, and most of Africa, and Asia, and South America, because “bad people”, or just people we don’t like, who don’t like us, rule in other places, but that would have cost as much as we’ve already been spending on “defense”, to seek dominion over the whole planet. (Dang! Those awful Russians and Chinese are trying to compete with us, or at least were, until they realized a war machine isn’t the answer!)
