Most medals for valor are awarded to folks who were in the wrong place, at the right time, and did what they were trained to do, under extreme circumstances. Toonists should stop politicizing their courage, period.
So try him for murder. Giving the victims benefits doesn’t automatically claim Hasan guilty of anything. He is still considered innocent until convicted. Which he was and today, given the death penalty.
