Reminds me of a picture I saw online (and promptly snagged). Cat cuddling with baby, baby has pacifier in mouth. Cat is looking at the camera, captioned “Whatever you do, DON’T pull the plug again!”
I never saw the need for pacifiers. My kids never had one and my middle child’s daughter doesn’t have one either. Some parents let their kids hang on to those things up to age 4 years old. Ridiculous.

My Mom said I wouldn’t use a pacifier…didn’t want it if it didn’t have something coming out of it.
