@comedynut YesterdaySorry if I offended you in some way, but I did not appreciate being called a dumb ass. Which, by the way, I wasn’t the only one to wonder about. We are all friends here, and I’m a 75 year old woman and I was puzzled and hurt.

Teens do it all the time Betty. My daughter texted me good night last night (and she’s only 12). I made her come to me and give me a hug.

Getting back to the strip at hand, this is such an absolutely sad commentary on the way kids interact these days.

I will never understand why people text each other when they are right there with each other! It makes no sense at all. If they’re in different rooms it makes more sense because they don’t want to take the trouble of going to another room but when they’re right there with each other? What gives with that?

Will the human race end up as electronic telepaths?Our communication devices built into our bodies which we will use with our thoughts instead of our fingers?

Should there be an apocalyptic event would our young people know how to communicate?

My college roommate and I did that once when she was upstairs and I was downstairs, but I had laryngitis at the time!
