New Who – cauliflowerHow can you tell?

Any new actor of a legacy character gets doubters. Batman, James Bond…

And by the way, there was a comic strip here. Not only seriously titanic feet, but some serious summertime lethargy going on there!

Neil looks like one of my old college roommates.Played lineman on the football team.Believed sweat was good for keeping one fit.I went to a single room after that.I liked the guy but a six year old unwashed jock supporter was just too much.

You’re not lonely, I’m sure there are others who don’t follow it. Me, for one!

I’m surprised we didn’t hear from any pedantic Doctor Who fans reminding the cartoonists “Doctor Who is the name of the SHOW; the character is only known as The Doctor.” But then, it’s probably mostly a UK thing, since Doctor Who debuted about the same time a rock & roll’s The Who and James Bond’s Dr. No…

Most of us probably wouldn’t gripe about it because simply stating “of the new Doctor” all in caps would not be a clear reference. Now, if there’s a visual cue, like a Tardis or sonic screwdriver, then yes, tacking on the “Who” might be protested or labeled as overkill.

You know, I’d really like to see an actual cloud shaped like that…….the cauliflower, I mean.
