Instability often leads to a fall and then Ernie’s optometrist will be the benefactor.

Fenton, when Ernie comes in, why don’t you show him to a quiet table, please.

Instability is catching. We don’t need a run of it at the bar….especially if there are a lot of excitable monkeys or dogs er … um….squirrels … drinking.

    I meant squirrels….honest.

Ernie, inveterate golfer that he is, reacts to the bad weather report… being out of the house and out on the links is what he lives for. His wife (what’s her name?) is alarmed….oh, how she dreads rainy days and a moping husband, grousing and grumbling around the house….panic sets in….where can she hide?

He’ll surely find her at the computer in the kitchen. Her time on GoComics will be curtailed, much to her chagrin. She could take the laptop and find a WI-FI spot…. OR ………………….just go shopping!

Some reasons for his instability1. Realized after all these years his wife was right all along.2. The Mylie Cyrus thing for sure. (There goes Hannah Montana)3. He could have saved 15 percent just by switching to GEICO.4. There was a sale at Penney but he missed it.5. He realizes he suffers from Low T.6. He just received his draft notice (if there was one)7. He threw away his Lotto ticket. His numbers came in.8. Just found out her mother is coming to visit. For a year mininum.9. His mother is coming to visit. She has never approved of his dressing small animals business. Wanted a doctor instead.10. He just read Ballard Street and sympathizes.

You know what I love about living on Ballard Street ? Nobody gets political. Take today’s strip. It could have opened all sorts of commentary which might have been construed as political or inflammatory. The good citizens of Ballard Street wisely refrain from walking down that slippery slope – the only one they walk is the slippery one heading out to Bev’s farm.Have a great day Ballardeers and avoid the Op-Ed section of town.

I just think instability is the norm on Ballard Street. Yes we’re all unsteady!….no wait we’re all just leaving the Tiki….thats it. we’re all just drunk! Ernie just realized he missed Happy Hour (and the yak rib special)

    LOVE Bev’s animated hug!

Do those bits of animated text get inserted the same way as regular images? I’d also like to insert links as TEXT (or images) in email and also use animated text in HTML type emails as well (I know the text would not allow).

It’s getting near noon and I been just messing online – got to get to working out!

I shall nurse my gin and tonic with Vicks on the side until I get my stability back, I mean my back stable. That is, until my back feels better.

I don’t have a stable in the back, although one would be handy for my nightmares…

I thought that I was the only one who’s off balance (and just because I’m really trying not to take a long trip during this medical experiment (which is what this year is for me). no WAY would I give up eating animal protein completely for the rest of my life No more than give up any of life’s OTHER pleasures.

As I told my doctor at the beginning, I LIVE for pleasure! and if I were never to have some things in particular I would not care a fig about prolonging my life (I’d never END it, but I would not live so prudently and carefully). Not really my nature! Not being with him since last January is a strain on my imagination ;-D

I’ve had back problems in the past (both from work stress and from holding a strange position too long in leather work projects) and the best thing for it was a really good (gentle) chiro. Not like the first one I tried, who put me in a crazy upside down contraption. I now have one fairly near the house who is good, but I no longer need it (at least have not in over a year).

Tried to convince my man to try one for his back, but he has not (and I don’t know the ones in his area).

The phrase “localized instability” usually refers to the weather, which is typically not offered at a scale as fine as the far end of the sofa. Perhaps in this case, the phrase means whether or not poor Philip there has both oars in the water.
