There are no good guys in Egyptian politics at the moment. We should stay as far away from this mess as possible.

http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/this_blood_is_on_the_hands_of_muslim_olptNuF89CVqLiPBzOu6OL-A year of misrule by the Morsi Muslim Brotherhood created an attempt by the moderate Military to restore the type of government since Mubarak’s 1952 government that protected innocents from radical Islamism. -Obama created the climate for Morsi to gain power with a fake “democracy” (opposed 100% by the Koran) as a step to complete dictatorship such as in Syria and Iran.-Egyptian Christians have fled, those who could, but all who oppose radicals are targets of the Brotherhood.-And one reason for the US to continue aid to the military is the Suez Canal and the oil shipments to the West.

Actually we don’t need the oil. We need to get our own oil out of the ground, but liberals won’t allow any common sense solutions,

This is not a civil war, it is a war of religion. Notice that Christian churches are being burned by Morsi supporters. .In fact, I never saw a “civil” war.

Just flew across the country and back, folks need to see jus how many gas fields and ol wells, plus wind farms in Texas are already out there IN THE U.S.!! Also had years fo monitoring federal lease activity. Simple fact is Canada and Mexico provide most of our “imported” oil, and the U.S. oil companies are sitting on literally thousands of leases they haven’t fully, or even initially developed, DOMESTICALLY!

The Middle East is a place we need to get out of, and stay out of, and stop trying to dictate their governments to favor our “friends” in Israel, the only Middle East country ever to fire on U.S. Navy vessels, even when told to “back off”, and we did NOTHING to punish them!!

I had a friend whose brother worked in an Egyptian oil field. He would bring a new Daimler home with him every couple of years.
