That’s better than leaving them on the bedroom floor.

Does a machine clean your room, too, all by itself?

I taught my son how to use the washer when he was 14, I also warned him against washing just ONE outfit (jeans & shirt). In fact that is what started the “Learn to use the washer” thing. He asked me to wash a certain pair of jeans and shirt for school, when I told him to go get enough to fill the load he told me he didn’t want the other clothes just that one set………needless to say he got a whole load and now he does the laundry all the time at his house. lol

Does the washer email or call you on your cell phone when the wash needs to go in the dryer?

It’s like the rides at amusement parks: If you’re not as tall as the washing machine you shouldn’t be using it by yourself.

I had 3 boys, just a year apart (so very close in size) One wore his white socks without shoes anywhere, another never did. When it got to the point that they cared about having the laundry mixed up, I showed them how to sort and do their own. That was a useful lesson (and they had many) I had a girl the next year and got a ligation when doctor gave D&C. By then I knew I wanted a divorce, in any case, but it was over 10 years before I DID that.
