Who remembers films at the drive-in? My grandfather referred to it as “the passion pit”.

The last movie I went and watched in a theater is now on a classic channel.

It was one of the first movies I saw in person. I was the same age as Bobby Driscoll and Luanna Patten. Copies are still sold in Europe and I got myself a converted copy a few years ago. It still brings up the the same emotions.

My first not a Saturday matinee movie/drive-in movie was “Goldfinger”. Still the best Bond movie.

I guess this really raises the age bar for being a plugger. There aren’t too many left who could’ve gone to a Tracy/Hepburn movie when it first ran in theaters.
