I had a pit bull who insisted on climbing under the covers and crawling down by our feet – my own and my wife’s. I’ll never know what the attraction was but I always used cotton sheets and blankets to ensure she could breathe. Of course when it’s winter in New England, a warm dog makes a pretty good bed warmer. That and who wants to try to kick a pit bull out of bed? Only kidding; she had about the sweetest disposition of any dog we’ve ever had.
