Even though the enlarged print is still too small to read we can still enjoy the different excellent art styles on this page.

What I was able to read: At the Pleasure Ground: Languid Lou: “If that’s pleasure I”d like to know wot they calls work." ; At Good Tennis Court: “As Warm As You” (next to:) “Potato Haven” (I think it is a potato bug) ; The Two “Big Bugs” at our Country Resort. ; Tennis On The Deep – OR – How the Mermaids took advantage of a drunken fisherman. ; Play Ball. Some Rooters (pigs & fans) Low Balls (next to drink prices). Ball Lossers at practice. ; Some Boardwalkisms. All style of feet to be seen. Setting the fashion in beards and costumes for the 1897 season (the men facing eachother). Getting a little sea air (hats & beards blowing). “Don’t annoy me dear! I am flirting with the waves” (mother to daughter). “Charlie boys”?? (not sure on that one) “The Invalid” “Cholley” and his pet can always be seen on the walk. ; Drop a nickle in the slot and get your photograph. ; The only Sea-Serpent Ever Seen (tiny snake in tank) ; The Barker (man w/ big mouth) ; Get your hands read, get your heads read, Prof. Febon (?) Palmist (men w/ red heads & hands) ; The Only Mammoth Ever Captured Alive – We Expect to Hear from it every minute ; Bones of a prehistoric Zulu (next to dice)

Not only the artistic styles, but the intricate and complicated page layouts are interesting.

If you click on the page, it opens in a new window and then you can enlarge it a little – easier to read!
