I do like Mr. Wuerker’s talent as an artist. I also like the bipartisan nature of the cartoon. He captures well the childishness and frivolous nature of these two immature and selfish parties.Respectfully,C.
If the ratio in the House and Senate was equal to the ratio displayed you’d realize that the ONLY reason nothing gets done is that the Senate never acts on it. The HOUSE (Republican dominated) passed a large number of bills, some BS, some important, that the Senate Debating Society ignored in their chambers. And, if the ratios were the same there’s still that Big Democrat in the White House with a veto pen. That’s funny, because of that veto pen, nothing gets done since Veto’s can’t be overridden without a 2/3 majority.Me, I’d change it to a simple majority to delete a law, a super majority to pass a law, and eliminate Presidential vetoes, returning him to his previous role as Chief Administrator.
There was no IRS tea party targeting. The scandal has no basis. Get over it. And the inability of congress to get things done is NOT a bipartisan problem. It’s overwhelmingly because Republicans are not willing to govern, and see no personal gain in an America that functions.
We could – but a better description today would be “plutocracy.” Government of the rich, by the rich, and for the rich. And this has always been a weakness in the American character — the rich are our nobility. Alexis de Tocqueville nailed us early on, dammit.

Of course you have numbers to back up your voter fraud claims while the GOP is busy passing laws to prevent minorities from voting.

I quite agree. Especially since the only real winners are plutocrats.
