Not a good cartoon. There’s really no comparison.

“stop and think about your statement when you push for stricter Gun Laws Nationwide, they will not work as people will find away around the stricter gun laws.”

Again with the same argument: criminals don’t obey laws, therefore there is no value in having them. So, let’s wipe all laws off the books. I have no intention of murdering someone, so it doesn’t matter if murder is illegal. However, criminals will murder whether there are laws against it or not. Same for robbery, rape, drunk driving…..and look how much money we could save if we didn’t convict anyone and jail them.

Please explain how my contention differs from yours, if you can. I am sure you must see something that I don’t.

Tigger said, “Yet Obama wants to support this man.”

Is that why he’s arming the rebels that are against Assad? Strange way of showing support for the guy.

WRONG! You have falsely attributed the decline in gun deaths to Right to Carry and Stand Your Ground laws. This is an unwarranted conclusion not supported by the data as reported the article you cited. Right now, we don’t know what the decline is due to. One thing, though — it is extremely unlikely that more guns = fewer gun deaths. That’s been found over and over again. Heinlein got it dead wrong.

“You just proved my point, when you use same argument when it’s pointed out Chicago’s Strict Gun laws have not reduced Gun Violence and Gun Murders in Chicago.”

You see what you want to see. Do you really think that dry counties (which do not allow alcohol sales) don’t have residents who drive to the next county to buy liquor?

Meanwhile, drunk-driving laws are pretty standard from locality to locality, and it is proven that they work. It’s much easier to get around a law that is far different depending on where you are (and/or when ENFORCEMENT is far different) than when there is more uniformity.

But feel free to believe as you do. Twisted logic, I suppose, is better than no logic at all.

Tigger huffed, “The money will go to Assad.”

Except that the rebels are getting GUNS, not cash.
