    My house:

Want to summon the cat; shake the treat bag.

Want rid of her for hours? Play something blowing up on TV. You won’t see her for at least 2 hrs.

Dogs love food, that’s for sure.

Depends on the pet. Fruit flies like a banana. Time flies like an arrow.

“baby” carrots are nasty. They’re just trimmed down regular carrots, first of all. Second, they’re slimy. Third, they were probably “washed” with nasty water downstream from a pig farm.

They live in an apartment. What floor do they live on?

My cats knows that a can opener opens cans even though it’s never been used to open their cat-food cans.

    Satchel is such a dog.

I think they must be on the ground floor because Bucky taped on bat wings and took a flying leap out it to land splat on the ground. He was quite shaken and banged up a bit. He took a week, I think, to recover. He was quite adorable in his drawer wearing socks on his paws and tail.

Old strip. I was hoping to see something new.

    @ Mad Scientist:

They live on the fourth floor, according to the strips in which Bucky spent in the neighbor’s trash can writing.

A cat can hear the opening of the tin of tuna 2 blocks away. A dog knows exactly how many treats you have in your pocket, even if he never saw what you put in your pocket.

Experience tells me that this is more effective on cats than dogs. Or, at least, more effective on MY cats than MY dog.

This story is one my mom told me:When we were little we had a dog that wasn’t allowed on carpets, so we’de carry her from the family room to the kitchen when it was dinner time and had to feed her. Pretty soon if anyone said the word “dinner”, even if it was “I’ll be back by dinner, Mom.” or “What do you want for your birthday dinner?” she’d take a running leap, bounce once in the middle of the living room, and go wait by her cabinet until she got somethign to eat.
