I knew a man that got tired of kids smashing his mailboxes all the time. He built one himself that would wreck a car if it drove into it. A heavy metal post embedded a foot deep in concrete and filled with concrete, The box was made from a larger heavy metal pipe. I could probably have survived an artillery round. They left it alone after that.
My 5 yr old nephew got hold of a measuring tape one day. After figuring out that it is used to measure, he measured everything in the house. A few days later, he saw a spirit level. Obviously everything in the house was checked to see if they were level. A couple of days back, he got hold of a hammer. SMH
