Shove, Madeline, shove! You don’t want that dirty Thing sharing table with your dinner! Give up, Alice: Mother knows best.

I had a piece of the Berlin Wall that I kept for a long time, which wasn’t really much more than that, at least physically. I wound up giving it to a cousin who’s in the military & spent some time in Germany.

She allowed Alice’s insect infested weed as centerpiece a few weeks ago. Alice has to learn how to use precedence as a counter argument.

Alice should store it away someplace, and when she grows up, can sell it on ebay as an historical artifact. Someone will no doubt end up buying it.

My family ate my black giant rooster that I’d had as a pet since he was a chick. (Our family did stuff like that – no biggie; he’d gotten pretty mean, anyway.) Mom let me keep one of his feet in the freezer till I agreed to dispose of it. Come to think of it, my daughter has a couple of deceased budgies in her freezer. We are One. Weird. Family.

I agree with Madeline. One reason that they now recycle asphalt when they resurface a road is that old asphalt is now considered a hazarous waste and is very expensive for the contractor to dispose of it.
