Mr. Veeblefester: Of course he played poorly - even worse than usual! But that wasn't the most embarrassing thing... Mr. Veeblefester: Would you believe, the buffoon actually wore black and white golf shoes! Egad! Lividea: There's nothing for you to be upset about - you have a pair of black and white golf shoes yourself! Mr. Veeblefester: No, no - I meant, Thornapple wore one black shoe and one white shoe!

I think I read the Born Loser because some of the things he says and does remind me of myself and/or friends.
