At least a plugger is NOT a control freak.Unlike my first husband. Who made sure if I went shopping. That he was along to make sure I did NOT enjoy myself. Either by him blasting the radio on some program I did not want to hear while in the car. As well as him asking, “can we go back home now?” Especially if I was looking for clothing for myself. And the go home bit started within a few seconds of me even being in the women’s dept of Sears.
Could be. Maybe it goes all the way back to the difference between hunters and gathers.But, I do think the lines blur a little bit.There are some men who like to shop, especially for tools.Now, my mom really enjoyed fishing and hunting.

The way this goes at home:Wife: “I’m going shopping. Do you want to go?”Me: “Naw. I’m good.”
10 minutes later:
Wife: “Are you sure you don’t want to go?”Me: “Positive. I’ve got stuff to do here.”
Another 10 minutes goes by:
Wife: “I’m going now. Is there anything you want?”Me: Naw. Have a good time."Door: “SUH-LAMMMM!!!!”
