Million dollar idea Mr. Miller….I picture not just a snack bar, but a real bar with Wi-Fy and maybe a water slide…It looks hot and dry there….Some T-shirt shops, fudge/souvenir shops, Old Timey Photgraph, you name it…Camp grounds…Cactus eating contest……

@Rainbow Fairy -USED to be in Florida. Last time I tried to find one I’d been to previously in the Cocoa Beach area, it was GONE! Looking at Krystal’s website/map… they’re all concentrated in the eastern TN/GA/AL area. Too bad. They (and White Castles) were mighty tasty… the ORIGINAL sliders! Everything else is a copy. Why is it that businesses like that fail or move when they sell something as basic as a burger and their product is so well-liked everyone else is copying them?

Should be about as many on the other side who just ‘survived’ the ordeal.

I’d be passing by a lot of people, unless it was also a bathroom stop, in which case I might have to join the twits.

There will soon be a town here called ‘TWITTERVILLE’. Which will boom and provide all the visiting ‘tweeters’ with every comfort.

They will soon realize the need for increased bandwidth for the incredible influx of visitors and residents that they will install a tower of their own, only to find that this will lead to a mass migration to the edge of service in order to continue their search for the latest and greatest place to be. Leaving Twitterville a mere ghost town filled with nothing but old flightless birds….

A bunch of kids failed their wilderness courses last year and got no credit. Parents complained that the school was biased against technology. School sent them texts saying: “Ask your child to do these three things; start a fire without a match or open flame, identify three poisonous wild berries, and give them a magnetic compass and see if they can find north.” Amazingly, the parents stopped complaining.

The sign is an homage to the sign on Iterstate 15 that reads, “It’s no joke, no services for the next 150 miles”. You get gas there or you’re outta luck.Worst vacation ever was a time we were driving to grandma’s and the car kept breaking down just outside of Needles, NV. Fix one thing and leave, only to be towed back for another issue. As a 10 yr old kid, there’s not much to do in Needles, NV on a July afternoon, circa 1975.

Number Six posts every day. S/He IS one of us. (And not just #6; it’s a generic observation about people who post comments about comics decrying those who tweet. The irony kills me.]

Someone please tell me how commenting on GoComics is ANY different in substance than tweeting on Twitter, other than possibly a more narrow context.

Wouldn’t it be more fun to simply cut the sign down and let the twits find out the hard way? I do so love watching people hooked on sociopathic media enter dead zones. The looks on their faces is comedy no amount of money can buy. Or rather it can, but electronic countermeasures (i.e., signal jammers) aren’t legal.
