Well, I bought my first, and only, computer in May of 2011. I almost immediately had to replace the keyboard. I’m still using the computer. Right now, in fact.

I usually go through 2 or 3 keyboards per computer.Maybe the new/old-fangled mechanical switch keys in THIS one will last like the OLD IBM keyboards.

Really? No one has caught onto the poignant statement the cartoonists were making in panel three?

I’m thinking about a keyboard made retro style. Have it look just like an old Remington typewriter from the twenties.

Mine don’t either. The things that go out most often on my computers are keyboards, mice, and memory sticks.

I wonder whether this is foreshadowing a new love-interest for Grampa…

I liked the grandpa point, but if the keyboard outlived it’s computer, why do they have a closet full of them? Shouldn’t there be a few tough ones in the house attached to new computers?
