It’s fairly unusual to see Rita in the straight-woman role. I guess it needed to be someone comfortable with calling Roy a geek to his face, but wouldn’t that be almost anyone?
I’m never first here at GoComics. We in Phoenix keep our own time with NO saving daylight. So if I still had a huge collection of watches (with bands and faces of semi-precious stones) it would be great never changing the settings.
Unfortunately, the batteries all died and the cost to have them replaced is more than they cost me at the Gem Shows where I bought them (to match every outfit).
I don’t know why Roy looks depressed in this panel; he has so much more going for him than Rita (who strides with confidence because she’s delusional).
go comics updates its comics at 0510 UTC, so if you are CDT that would be 12:10 am. As you might imagine those of us using MDT or PCT don’t find it to hard to stay up until the update, and therefore have an unfair advantage to calling Firsties
