“What did the CIA find out about MLK?” IT was the FBI and basically they found out he was cheating on his wife. Nothing un-American or traitorous (unless you define adherence to racism and segregation as loyal).

fairtoeveryone: They never said. The FBI released some fiction, but it was quickly falsified. The most notorious was the lie about an orgy during the march from Selma. What was going on that night was a strategy session involving most of the southern clergy who believed what in those sexist times was called “the brotherhood of man under the fatherhood of God.” My pastor was there and informed the congregation. With walking 30 miles per day for almost a week, it is a wonder that anyone could survive strategizing until two in the morning, much less what Hoover claimed.
