    Where I am, it’s, “But it’s a dry heat.” Then when it’s -40, you hear, “But it’s a dry cold.”

    I suffer to disagree. Humidity is still humidity. That’s why they call it relative humidity. If you live in the snow belt you should know that when you get a wet heavy snow it is because the humidity is relatively high and you will “feel” colder.
