I checked it and saw some weird stuff (nothing to my taste). That last photo from yesterday was a keeper, tho’ and thanks to Susan about the info on bankwidth.
What I got from the latter is that there is nothing much I can do other than post smaller files to Flickr (which I try to do) and I STILL think it may help after posting a whole bunch for a Birthday – to go back and delete when it’s done (in SCA we are always told “leave the place cleaner than you find it”). I love posting lots of photos and have a small portion on Flickr of what used to be HUGE files and albums on Webshots.
It makes NO sense to “clean up” old pages by removing pictures…. especially if they’re relevant, or somebody might still enjoy them in returning to something like a birthday, or Ballard County election day.
My post yesterday attempted to explain that if someone saw them the first time, they’re already cached (ie saved) on that person’s computer….
Unless the cache has been cleared, the computer will probably retrieve them internally rather than downloading again.
The percentage of NEW users checking out old pages, and therefore downloading the content, is probably miniscule, compared their viewing of current ones.
And I’m sure GoComics has already factored activity on old pages into their decisions…it’s the level of CURRENT use they care about.
A park or a beach re-opens every day in the same place…litter needs to be gone before new people arrive.
Our comments are NOT litter… and, unlike a park, the old forums are seldom used by new visitorsthough they are quite welcome to go back and look at them…

This morning she has skillfully cut her fifth concentric circle and to her surprise she has out done her personal best. Marcus is simply envious. He has never been as nimble, agile or lively as Lois. Confronted, confused and befuddled Marcus has canceled his day at the office and is heading straight for some A.M. ale. He can’t cut a hoop, but he can ride a stool.
Yes, Susan- I LOVE that you found what Stel planned to post (I was puzzled by that site, finding nothing that made sense for the strip) and I remember that you “found” me when I had vanished into the ether of PC lack of access. LOL

Lois always DID seem to be going around in circles.
Maybe Marcus is right, though… yoga was calming her down.This new exercise seems to exaggerate her worst tendencies.
But whatever new fad piques her interest, she’s usually ready to turn to it…
That’s just how she rolls.
