Where there are campers there will be cell service. Where there is no service there will be no campers.

And they all lived happily ever after. At least, until the next arc for Danae.

Wiley must be a southern or coastal Mainah – down to the south a few months back we had a hermit caught who’d been living in the woods for almost thirty years and who survived by stealing from camps in his area…

Guess I gotta keep an eye open for big turkeys.

The problem isn’t hitting the giant tom, the problem is getting enough harpoons bullets into him to take him down before he runs away again.

Danae’s comment in the 3rd panel reminds me of " Beam me up, Scotty. There’s no intelligent life left down here. " moment.

This is based on the true story of the hermit of North Pond in Maine — see http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/28/christopher-knight-maine-hermit-appears-in-court_n_3347788.html

Since the comic is about Maine it’s perfect!

Q4horse: I have camped for ages, even wrote a fairly successful (two editions, two book clubs) book on the subject. I hate cell phones and never use them except in major emergencies and don’t take the excess weight when backpacking.
