Something tells me this is some form of payback for Andre limiting what you wanted to do with the strip all those years ago. But to have Rita this out of character in order to do it…

Let me guess. Either Dana Ex Machina saves the day once again from her boss or the storyline gets dropped with no resolution because that would mean Rita would have to learn something. And since Rita = Maria, that’s never gonna happen.

Actually, Rita evolved since Andre left just though the natural growth of the strip. I’m also doing a new project with Andre.

I’m enjoying these story lines the last 2 weeks.

I do like the guys peeking around the cubicles. How does one talk to a dense supervisor anyway?

Many times it happens that one character unexpectedly becomes the main star of a series: Dagwood, Spock, Erkel, and now Rita! Yes!

If anyone could beat her, it would be him.

I think Rita is looking great this week! In my opinion, one couldn’t do better than a strong, mature (age 40+) woman, and wearing a snug tank top and skirt too! As much as I like Dana and Sue as the most intriguing (and attractive) women on the strip, Rita has them beat these last few days. However I’m not saying that I’d want to work for Rita!!!

Thought for sure this storyline was gonna end with a woman beating Rita to keep with the whole “men bad, women good” theme this and so many other comic strips have nowadays.

This is a good look for Rita.
