During the 60’s, at least one bus carrying civil rights activists was attacked by people who were still wearing their church clothes. They burned the bus and beat everyone that escaped the flames. Some blame the KKK, but they were in church clothes and may have actually felt they were doing the Lord’s work.There are parallels that exist today, the differences are nuanced. The result is the same… people get hurt and killed, neighbors become divided and cloistered in their groups and communities.Sadly,but Respectfully,C.
