Up until I gave it to some visiting relatives, my Garmin INSISTED I should turn left across a grass median and oncoming traffic to gain entrance to a road that had been closed for the past 18 years… and that was with the latest downloaded database…..go figger..

I still use maps and atlases to find my way around. I like to research how to get somewhere before I begin my trip, not on the fly. I’ve only use GPS devices to get my current location if I’m in unfamiliar territory.

And some dimbulb here in MA turned onto the train tracks.Can you guess what happened next?? YUP Totaled the minivan.No loss of life but what a MAROON as Bugs would say.
