350 million people to monitor; I doubt if you mundane conversation will draw much attention. Try slipping the words “bomb”, “weapons”, or “heroin” into the conversation.

This is a diversion. Like J Short says, the mundane can be boring or overwhelming clutter. The Republicans don’t want you to think about why they’re not voting for jobs. Or what they are doing to women’s rights. Focus on the need for jobs, highway repairs, and the really important danger of Citizens United (corporations are individuals, really?!!)

Big government has nothing to do with party politics- PLEASE drop that!

My lover worries about what we say and do on Skype because of all this nonsense. I tell him that if they’re silly enough to watch us 70 somethings in that sort of thing, then welcome to it (no bother to me).

If monitoring helps catch terrorists, I’m all for it. If I have to give up my privacy for safety of myself and others, it seems a fair trade. Now can we discuss the real issues of the day?I like the govt carrying off the speech balloon, pretty funny.
