I can see a man having such a conversation with a gay woman if it’s clear he’s not hitting on her, and if he (presumably straight) would comfortably have the same conversation with a gay man. Gays and straights should be able to have such conversations, if only to promote understanding. Betcha Paige wrote this based on her own experiences.
