I think I’ll go wait for Gordon on the 19th. It’s too hot to wait around out there to see him hit a little ball into a stupid hole.

The artist is good. Check his grip. Just like they tell you. However his foot position is all wrong. Ball should be by his left front heel not that far behind. Eyes down on ball, left arm straight, rotate those hips. No wonder he shanked it.The dog’s position however is “perfect” Good follow through. Great distance.

bev, I saw The Mas Of Dimitrios last night. Loved it! I was hooked practically from the beginning.

I didn’t know Ballard Street ran underground all the way to Paris, France.

I avoid spending excess time in the sun. Dad was an avid golfer (and got skin cancer on his nose). When we go out for walks I generally stick to the shade and take an umbrella for any extended time in the sun. When I had a bird, they loved to climb in the umbrellas. Can’t use umbrella with golf clubs and I was never good at that anyway.

That wasn’t Gordon’s first attempt, judging from the other hole in the foreground. Obviously, Digger knows a Duffer when he sees one.

Gordon, what’s up with you guys? Between you and Chet, Stan and George, you have the whole neighborhood in a tail spin. Pull up Pull up, you are talking to a dog and it’s not funny. Rusty Boy has left the park beat, been promoted to pond patrol and fairway watch. As an accomplished canine, Rusty Boy has seen more than his share. Gordon you should know by now, for sure and for certain, dogs laugh with their tails and admonish with their nose. Could it be your hat is too tight and your stroke too short. Are your shorts to tight and your stoke too long. Or is it something more? I didn’t think you could have a 56 stoke handicap, I guess I was wrong. Don’t ask Rusty Boy, you already know what he thinks.

Happy that is probably the best known Burma Shave slogan. I was born in 1953, Dec., and I KNOW I remember seeing some of those signs along the roadways. Oh, that was such a simple sweet time, I think. :-)

That’s happened to you too, Shika whether you know it or not. You have had your posts appear in a row. I think it is the gocomics site. Many posters have their posts show up several times, and there are repeats of the last say 10 or so posts that repeat. They need to fix their system, the more comics and games they add, the more problems they seem to have.

I’ve been busy (and finally getting all my new versions of programs sorted out (I HATE upgrades); they are always arranged differently in ways that make sense only to their designer, they cost additional money and just deliver PITA!But getting all my folders, toolbars etc so they almost work as well as they did before “improvements”!

Sorry for the rant, but REALLY!

We kids were kept entertained back in those days by Burma Shave signs. Better than just counting how many cows and horses in the pastures back in IL.

My parents enjoyed golf and I tried it once as an engineer, but there were loads of venders there who we dealt with and all of them were buying me drinks (so they were literally lined up on the table in front of me). I got lost trying to find my way home from a very distant place and actually spent the night in jail on a DUI. Decided golf was not for me ;-D
