With severe stomach cramps, one needs to be curled up in a beach chair and drink something, not work, right?

More ‘sick’ days are taken during the summer than any other time. Hmmmm…. I think I feel a stomach flu coming on! :-)

Maybe a bit dizzy too. You should lie down. And the girls need to bring you drinks to make sure you’re not dehydrated. Frozen drinks. With umbrellas in them. Doctor’s orders, I swear.

Just read an article this morning saying electric bills should be lower this summer with many folks predicting a mild summer. Yeah! A record 92 in Boston yesterday. 98% humidity, too. Made worse by the fact that not everyone up here has A/C.

Walked out this morning into what felt like the bottom of a soup bowl! Heat is one thing….humidity is the enemy…..

Oh cheer up everyone. You c old be in Calgary or Canmore AB, or Cumberland House SK. Actually, you couldn’t be in Cumberland House, since they’re evacuating due to the flood coming from Canmore…

Yeah, I wish we had low humidity! 75° feels more like 90° when the humidity is 90%! And already at 7am! Already too hot to walk my poor dog. :(

our high today is suppose to be 21C/70F. Humidity is higher than usual (we’re arid) due to the flooding. A nice day to cycle longish (2hrs?). And it shouldn’t be too bad for those emptying their flooded homes and businesses. And repairing infrastructure (replacing main roadway and unbending LRT railway tracks & generally getting the mud & debris off the streets).
