Issa is a perfect example of a Republican who doesn’t know when to shut his mouth. The GOP will pay dearly for his leadership in 2014. So let him keep talking.

Republicans said they had learned their lesson, but they clearly haven’t. What they NEED to do is come up with a better candidate, not try to malign the current one.

When will they ever learn? Oh, when….

The real scandal isn’t the IRS (yes, someone there did screw up, but it’s been part of their culture for many administrations, left and right), but the fact the cartoon defames rats! Issa, Cruz, Rubio, Boehner, Cantor, McConnell, ARE all AGAIN proving Republicans have far less ethical concern or guidance at hand. It goes back to McCarthy’s lies, panels, and viciousness.

Which, all the “righties” who come up with “comrade” or “commie”, or even “socialist” in attacking the current moderates like Obama, and actual “liberals” , destroy their own argument by proving their intellectual famine.

Issa and the other Republican House “panels” popping up make “red baiting” of the 50’s seem generous and ethical.

From what I just read I found out that the conservative Republicans are The ruling god like power in America. They are always right and their opinions are the only opinions that are allowed. I don’t think they know that other people might have different opinions than theirs. They are very insecure, paranoid people. There are other people in this world besides you. Pathetic people.

If you want an IRS scandal, here’s a real one:

“The IRS scandal continues to unfold in Washington with Congressional hearings underway and now investigation by the FBI into IRS actions and targeting of certain nonprofits. Discovery that the Director of the IRS division implicated in using the improper targeting, Lois Lerner, is an active member of HSUS raised questions whether she used her position to run interference for HSUS.

Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) wrote a letter to Lerner the year before asking that HSUS’s political spending be scrutinized. Lerner took no action. In response, Rep. Luetkemeyer wrote another letter to the Treasury Secretary

and the Inspector General for Tax Administration renewing his call for an investigation of HSUS.

In his weekly column, Luetkemeyer writes, “Three years ago, a number of constituents brought to my attention their concerns that the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) was involved in political and lobbying activities that were in direct violation of its 501©3 tax-except status that prohibits such activities. To be clear, HSUS is not affiliated with your local animal shelter. In fact, only 1 percent of the money HSUS raises makes its way to animal shelters at all. Instead, it spends millions of dollars on lobbying, ballot initiatives, and other political activities. For three years, and after providing the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) with more than 3,000 pages of documents exposing HSUS’ activities and calling for an investigation, the agency told me they could not discuss ongoing investigations and were also unable to confirm or deny whether or not aninvestigation was underway.”

Luetkemeyer continues, "This is the worst kind of government abuse that I have ever encountered in my more than two decades in public service and I am determined to get to the bottom of things on behalf of those folks who came

to me three years ago with these allegations." http://luetkemeyer.house.gov"

    http://saova.org/

    Here’s another take, same issue:

    http://www.thedogplace.org/Terrorists/HSUS-IRS-Lerner-staff136.asp

People have been writing for several years now, to get the IRS to enforce their regulations against HSUS, whose abuses are so egregious it’s astounding that they haven’t been taken to task long since. But they are very clever at buying the ‘right’ politicians, so again, the people lose.

And before you roll your eyes and decide you have no dog in that hunt, look closely at your diet. How much can you afford to pay for a dozen eggs? A quart of milk? A pound of hamburger? A pound of honey? ‘Animal Rights’ means no human use of animals, period, none, not for companionship, not for research, not for food or clothing. They’re serious, and they have successfully corrupted the legislatures in the interest of meeting their goals.

Why isn’t the media trumpeting this scandal?

“Democratic Sympathizers still use their three favorite adjectives – ‘racist’, ‘stupid’ and ‘crazy’.”.Yes, of course, and the GOP sympathizers are the epitome of civility.EXCEPT that in just the posts above, describing Dems and Liberals were the words “Ignorant,” “Vile” and “Loony.”And that doesn’t even cover the kind of language that posters like “Tucci” use.So get off of your high horse; your side is just as bad, if not worse, for the use of incendiary language (your boy Newt wrote a playbook with lists of offensive words to use against an opponent, like “coward,” “Traitor” and “Deviant.”).

my complaint is with the attitude of the conservative people. They act like their opinion is the only one. I agree the IRS has a lot to answer for, but can we do so without the name calling.

“We KNOW that ours is the only VALID opinion.”.Wow, a little monomania going on here?As Mark Twain said,“Liberals are full of questions, but Conservatives are damned sure they have all the answers.”Seriously, you should be embarrassed about such posturing, but it’s obvious that you aren’t, and that too should be embarrassing.

Let me get this right. If a Republican gets elected in 2016, you do not mind him manipulating the IRS to attack Democrats the same way Obama has with Republicans. I bet you’d change your tune if it was Democrats being discriminated against.

If Issa wanted to investigate anything real he should start with his own criminal history.
