Gotta love the logic. Since we don’t support Facebook with any money, we have become the product rather than the consumer.

Then some of us not only don’t support Facebook and the like with our cash, we also don’t suck up any of their resources so we don’t contribute to them in any way.

Just like the cards at the markets – first advertised so you could get discounts – then – your whole buying history is on them.

If you put your income, debt limit and credit history on Facebook, you get what you deserve.

Yeah, let’s not even mention the GOVERNMENT spying on us. this criminal administration has taken everything the previous administrations have done and turned it on it’s head. And jan here, acts like it’s all private companies doing the spying.

If anyone has a credit card, debit card, or a checking account or you own or rent a house or apartment or you own a car or rent or lease one or subscribe to any newspaper or magazine or have a social security card or any other form of identification or you work or are retired you already are “marked”.

Not all social media is ad-sponsored. app.net is a freemium (you can pay for the full service, but can still use it in a limited fashion for free) social network.

All this should be no surprise. It is God fulfilling His Word in the book of Revelation. It’s a good life living for Jesus Christ! Acts 2:38-39.

If I disconnect from Facebook, I will never hear from most of my relatives – some of them use FB exclusively. It’s the only way I can keep in touch. And besides, FB is far from being the only system that tracks customers. Grocery stores do the same thing.

You’re right !! I extremely dislike our current president! Even more than I disliked the past several presidents. The last great president was Calvin Coolidge!!

Give the clerks phony zip codes and the local Politico’s phone numbers. And of course, pay cash whenever possible. Check Six…

I agree that trying for true privacy in today’s world means you must go somewhere to live entirely off the grid. I refuse to give anyone the type of info that I see used when I must PROVE my identity and yes, sometimes lie about dates or locations for that reason FB is just another layer but I really HATE that they try to get everyone to “complete” their idea of a minimum profile (which includes some things that put ID protection at risk).

The internet is a convenience to me and (with the price of gas) if I can have my vitamins (and lots of other stuff) delivered to my door it makes my life simpler. I shop in person for the things that I want to inspect, touch etc before buying.

Just because I am paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get me.
