Morgan Freeman et al have taught me all I know about quantum physics, absolutely nothing, but it is interesting. I kind of understand what someone is talking about until the commercial, when I forget it all.

Pretty much agreed, but I only use ‘Flag’ when there is flat-out personal irrelevant insulting. Strong expression of opinion is one thing, but group insults — particularly of those to whom you are speaking — are over the ‘flag’ line.

As I said yesterday, Rachel Maddow gave a shout out to GT on her show last night. A great segment about Millicent Fenwick and Lacy Davenport was shown. Frank Lautenberg, who died yesterday, beat Millicent Fenwick. Lautenberg was 89, and a WWII vet, as well as a US Senator.

One should be able to make a comment on a comment section about politics, if it is a cartoon strip which tends to embrace the political world. Lacy Davenport was one of the characters in Doonesbury before she passed away a few years back. If you perceive making a comment about Lacy Davenport and her connection to Millicent Fenwick and Frank Lautenberg (on the occasion of his death) as feeding the trolls, maybe you should examine your own thinking, ChessPirate.

“Before you know it, you’ll be able to order PhD’s on line!”-You’ve always been able to do that. The problem has always been that nobody respects them.-Still, I refer you to James Michner’s SPACE in which the German rocket scientists didn’t have time to get PhDs in America so they bought them from Strabismus and continued their amazing work.-One of the saddest things in the book was when Strabismus realized he could have done the type of work they were doing and have contributed to human knowledge had he not spent his time fleecing the ignorant.

If the Usurper was Republican, GT could be penning about the following:. .. . Forgery . . . Illegal Assumed Name"-Don’t let anyone fool you. It is legal for you to call yourself “Guard SGT”-You don’t have to go home and slap your mother for not actually naming you that good name.

““GUTS” for General Useless Term Studies like DNA sequencing and String Theory. That is how I analyze it.”-Of course you do.-However, knowledge is never useless. You may choose to not know and you may choose to not use it, but if you don’t, your enemies may decide to use it on you.-The truly paranoid would be afraid to remain ignorant.

We use to call easy classes pud classes. I wonder if the term “guts” really did develop from “general useless term studies” and NightGaunt’ was not expressing his/her own opinion of them. And, of course, the humor is that virtually nobody would think those subjects easy.

I was going to mention a couple articles I read today. But I don’t want to start tirades. However, in fairness they must be mentioned. One was talking about Joe Biden breaking secrecy about which Seal Team had killed Osama bin Laden. It was incredibly sstupid. The other was about the lack ofdue process in killing American citizens because they have allegedly turned against America. These people have been killed by drones in countries that we are not at war with. No one is decrying the lack of due process. Then the FBI killed an unarmed suspect in his own home in Florida. One shot was center mass to the back of his head. Again, where was due process? Just putting my two cents worth in.RespectfullyJP

“When doing business like running for office, one MUST use their legal name. Barry’s step dad legally changed Obama’s name to Barry Soetoro. There is no court record of it legally being changed back. So using the name Obama is a crime.”-Nope, only if done to defraud. He took back his given name, he has that right.
