Pork chops for breakfast? Pork sausage patties sound more appetizing. As for the café con leche, I’d settle for a té de hierbas instead.

Had pork chops for breakfast a good chunk of my high school years, thanks Tia Tacha!

templo SUD: It was once standard farm breakfast (back before combines) and also included hash browns – well before Baldo’s time. It also was part of the proof that Yankees don’t exist: To most of the world Yankees are US; in the US, they are from the north; in the north, they are from New England; in New England, they are from Vermont; in Vermont, they are those who eat pork chops for breakfast. Since no one can afford pork chops for breakfast, Yankees don’t exist. QED.

I remember my Aunt Winnie serving pork sausage for breakfast, along with eggs, pancakes and maple syrup.

He is old enough to learn to make his own fried eggs, toast, and cafe con leche. The pork chops may need to wait on special occasions (or be made the night before and re-warmed)
