If it was a Schwinn Stingray, you had to look out for the center bar and the center bar shifter.

I’ve crashed motorcycles, bicycles, skateboards and cars every way possible, and I have the arthritic changes on x-ray to prove it.

And yet the Nanny State idiots got rid of those killer Teeter Totters in the playgrounds. I guess their Lobbyist didn’t spread around enough money. Can you imagine what a Federalized Safety bike would look like?

Going over backwards while going up a steep incline on a dirt bike so you land at the bottom on your back with the cycle landing on you. Done that a couple times too many.

My brother did that when he was 16 – he’s still alive and kicking at 51, so it’s not necessarily fatal.

I went over the handlebars in July of ’08, at age fifty-three. Broke a collarbone and six ribs. Then, in the late summer of ’10, I did it again. Broke two ribs and cracked a part of my pelvis called the acetabulum. Yeah, I fell down and busted my ace…..

Did it on a bicycle and a Bennelli minibike. Ouch.
