Sounds good to me. Most people don’t want a massive takeover of healthcare.

Now that the government is going to use taxpayer money to pay for people’s health insurance, just bend over and get ready. I’m not talking about a prostate check either, because that’s going to take over a year to get a Dr appointment for. I’m talking about a massive intrusion into your personal life and a ton of new taxes and fees. Yay!

Government isn’t the problem; government run by Republicans is.

I agree obama care will add 5 more days to tax freedom day. So that means (depends on what numbers you believe but most of them are the end of april) you can be working till may to pay you taxes.Which is 33% of anything you earn goes for taxes.

those poor new guys—there are so many things that they didn’t get to vote on before they were elected—like medicare, civil rights, the 2 current wars, desegregation of our public schools—their work is cut out for them. Where does boehner’s logic come from?

It is ironic to consider that had Mr. Romney won in 2008, “Romney Care” would have been a Republican plan. I also believe that Dems would have been on board with the plan since it does do something the Democrats want done, provide healthcare to more Americans.^We are already paying a healthcare tax whenever a person who can’t afford medical services goes to the emergency room. Just as 15% of our grocery and clothing price go to pay for items shoplifted from stores, we are paying more than 15% for those individuals who are getting medical care for which they have no money to pay. Hospitals are so tasked, some have resorted to dropping people off on the curbside or even giving them a bus ticket to another city with more medical space available.^Obama care is not the best product that could have been created. Mr. Obama himself says so. However, the conservatives are unwilling to come to the table to find a real solution to this matter as they are afraid of doing ANYTHING that makes this President look like he might be doing his job. Americans need affordable healthcare. There are examples of specific hospitals and other countries that have found a way to make it happen for the people coming to them. As long as lobbyists and people who are motivated by greed get to set the agenda, Americans will continue to decline in health, continue to pay too much, and continue to be divided by the very people causing the pain… Congress.Respectfully,C.

Sour grapes and sore losers…against democracy.

“Obamacare” was approved by House, Senate, POTUS, SCOTUS, and the American public (2012 election). Work to improve it or on something meaningful instead of wasting time.

Evidence that “Obama-Care” was rammed thru against the will of the people.

At least RT remains civil and even respectful, even to the likes of someone like yourself. Someone that is never as reasonable and good a person as RT is. Heck, anyone to the left of the likes of Rush Limbaugh is carrying the water for Democrat Liberals to the likes of you!!

Those Republican Conservatives are hard to understand. They get completely bent out of shape, fume and fulminate over four Americans killed in a war zone, but yet they want to return to a health care system that allowed 20,000 curable Americans to die annually because they could not afford health care or health care insurance. A system that is the most expensive by about double of the developed countries, and a system that its people have one of the lowest life expectancies of the developed countries because health care is largely inaccessible to a large part of the population. Yes, those Republicans are a strange and a backward bunch!

It appears you nave no understanding of what economic system is in Europe. (or here) You seem to get politics mixed up with economics. Of course you really have no idea of what economics is all about anyway except how do we continue to keep the rich richer and richer and to heck with the 90% who work for a living and have a hard time surviving in our “cater to the rich” system.

Your name is quite appropriate. You are an “antique” andbelong in the 19th century where we needed the rich industrialists to provide starvation wage jobs to all the immigrants we brought in to work our sweatshops and slave labor factories. Oh yes, their style of capitalism is what brought on the Depression.

that comment doesn’t speak to this issue. He said nothing about the IRS. besides, the reason the IRS did what they did is that these Tea party groups were trying to get tax-free status for being “Social Welfare groups”??When has the GOP done anything for social welfare? That is all in the Federal law, who can and who can’t and if they can or can’t collect money and why. Besides, people like you would evidently rather see a child in poverty die than contribute a small part to prevent his death? The GOP doesn’t want any abortions, but the care of the resulting poor children. wait till they are born and then get sick or injured and die.

I replied to this post but it ended up not saying that it’s a reply to bane.. GOP don’t want any abortions, but if all the extra children born into poverty, they don’t care if these kids die after they are born, because they don’t want to contribute a little to make sure they are not hungry, or get sick or injured and die.

I know you don’t like liberals, Mr. Onguard.I do not know what policies you support though I do know that you are opposed to all liberal ideas.I have not seen you put forth an idea, I’ve only seen you attack the ideas of others. As far as me being an independent goes, to some Democrats, I’m a moderate republican.I’m an independent by AFFILIATION. I refuse to join ANY party because of Geo. Washington’s comments on political parties. The water of many conservatives is very toxic since protecting water sources is not as important as making money.I know many good conservatives with whom it is possible to have dialectic conversations. You are too interested in attacking the messenger instead of discussing the message.Your argument does not carry water.Don’t confuse pride with hubris.Sincerely,C.
