Nancy: When I catch a COLD...I get to skip school! I get ice cream, comic books, a little tv moved into my room so I can watch some cartoons! So many wonderful things! And I FEEL too CRUMMY to FEEL GOOD about it!

So “sick” of getting colds… ha ha!-Part of the age old, ironic wonders…. ==I guess that’s why Fritzi was so cross yesterday….(Though some say that’s just a myth, about catching cold, from the rain, that is….)

In winter we are in warm rooms/offices in close quarters with other people. Often the rooms are overheated, which helps keep viruses alive longer. Thus more colds.

I’ll never forget that I came down with chicken pox during Christmas vacation! Bummer! :(

I remember as a chuild being told if I didn’t get a flu shot I might get sick & have to stay home from school for a week & I thought “& the downside of that is … ?”
