Assuming his plastic gun doesn’t backfire! The guy who made the 3D printer gun had to use a metal barrel. There are far easier & cheaper ways to buy an untraceable gun & we are a ways off from something metal detectors won’t pick up. I’ll worry when I see 3D plastic bullets. In the meantime, can we get actual universal background checks? Thank you.

So sad most Americans will believe almost anything (P.T. Barnum was right).

It’s very similar to prohibition. I didn’t work for lcohol, it is NOT working for Marijauna, finally people are seeing that folly, it also won’t work on guns and as far as abortions, they will just become more dangerous for women. If they are carrying a baby with a condition that means it will die soon in pain, you It’s hard to outlaw things people really want or really need. that won’t stop certain people with reasons.Legislation on people often isn’t even Gov. business.Morality OF the Gov. should be and usually their morals are the worst of all.

heard those 3d printed guns are extremely unreliable. the quality is poor. and, there is still a metal piece in the gun.

“The New England Journal of Medicine, 363;6,August 5,2010 “Private-Party Gun Sales,Regulation, and Public Safety” by Gare J Wintemute,M.D. et.al.”

Why is this in the New England Journal of MEDICINE? Because it’s a public health issue.

You give me $100 to buy cocaine. I sell you baking soda. You fill me full of holes. I go to the emergency room and spend thousands of dollars of someone else’s money to make sure I get better so I can go back out and get shot again.

And there are many documented cases of idiots with guns causing carnage and wasting taxpayer/insured people’s money.

How about the mom in Maryland who shot her 14-year-old son because he wouldn’t hand over the remote control, or the guy in New York who shot his fiancee dead because of the bid she made in a bridge game?

No matter what you think about the second amendment or its interpretation, our situation creates consequences that on the surface have nothing to do with public health, but sometimes you have to scratch through to see things for what they are.

It’s gonna cost you either way. Choose wisely.

NRA speaker at recent convention made the comment that we need to enforce lawsd already on the books to keep criminals and crazies (paraphrase) from owning guns. Wiothout background checks, howvdo you know who the criminals/crazies are? Your hypocrisy at work!
