As an average law abiding citizen, I have no trouble going along with what has always been a relatively conservative mantra on governmental “snooping”. And that is simply that if you are obeying the law, then you have nothing to worry about, anyway!!

But I think that may have been the thing which confirmed my belief that at least some legislation (and statutes and ordinances at much lower levels too) are passed without ever being read.
