What’s made up? It appears to be a fact that the IRS did target conservative groups. It also appears that the top brass in the IRS knew about it, clear back to 2011.If the IRS had been targeting political groups with, say, “Occupy” in their name, you’d be squealing bloody murder.
Say you hate the government, then say taxes are illegal, then seek tax-free status for your organizations, so they can make political contributions, that are illegal, and you MIGHT just expect some extra attention and audits.
