Whenever I go out for a walk, I obsess over the fact that everyone's lawn looks so much better than ours. And I fret over the fact that their houses are in better repair. And I worry that their gardens make my flowers look downright pathetic! If walking get you so worked up, why do you do it? They say it's supposed to relieve stress

My neighbors all have sprinkler systems and use lawn services. I have dandelions, crab grass, and apathy.

I don’t know if my neighbors hate me or appreciate me. My yard makes everyone else’s look pretty good, but it also brings down their property values.

Bob Vious: Brining down property values is only significant if you plan to sell. Bringing down property taxes is useful any time.
