    While my mother and my grandmothers were both excellent cooks, my father could cook well too. My son and daughter cook quite well also, as do I. While the women in my life do better when the menu is more complex, we men are fully capable of cooking very good meals when called to do so. I have been single for years, but I continue to eat well. Everyone should know how to cook. Much of it is easy.

    A man should be able to cook and sew on a button/repair a torn shirt.Being dependant on a female is foolish.
