Works for adults, too. A line in the water, no hook, just a bobber. Some shade, a good book and a little cooler with some beers. Everyone leaves me alone because I’m fishing. Try to read in the house and it’s, “is that all you’re going to do today?” LOL

Kay, I hear ya…..Non readers just don’t get it. We’re not just sitting there when we read, our brain is flowing all around the world….Just leave us alone, we’re harmless…..sorta….

To Caufield’s point. I learned a long time ago, if you have completed your duties at work, but still have time on your hands, to walk quickly wherever you go, so it looks like you’re in a hurry to do something…They leave you alone so you can goof off……..I’m a genius…

Don’t forget the clipboard. Need that to take notes when you “get to the meeting”. And in the business world (office type) it will make them sweat that they either forgot to go themselves or perhaps didn’t get told to show up. :)

Re: Varenes post :they will get in your way on purpose, because they want to waste your time, don’t be polite plow right through them apologize later but don’t give details no matter what. i’ve learned most people are too mean and lazy to do any work so they will to get you to do their work.

In the navy I knew someone who would walk around shaking a can of spray paint. Always looked like he was about to go to work.

This is a beautiful background; something probably not seen in newspaper comics in decades. It looks great here rather than the postage stamp size that are prevalent in newspapers.

My favorite part is the blur of the dog’s wagging tail.

I like the squirrel raiding the bird feeder( but can’t figure out what he is holding on to) and Caufield’s red eyes!Plus it is just a pretty scene, nicely balanced and looks like a nice place to live! The toy car looks like a friendly neighborhood gerbil is trying to make off with the toy car!

So true! That does become a problem though when they actually want to do something fun, and think you’re busy. :(
