Stevens got himself into Benghazi. Who lied to get us into Baghdad? And yes, it was years ago, and we’re still in Afghanistan and Iraq because of those lies.
Apparently, the Obama apologists believe it is okay for a military commander to order his troops to stand back and watch while an embassy with thirty U.S. personnel are attacked repeatedly by terrorists. The White House situation room watched the whole thing on camera for eight hours, and during that whole time, the only orders sent out were to relieve any officers in command in Africa who wanted to override the order to stand down and go in and save those Americans.
Mr. Obama pledged to bring the perpetrators of the attack to justice. It has been six months, and he has done nothing. Instead, he has ignored the issue and hoped it would go away. How can you ignore the fact that a U.S. embassy was attacked by terrorists with assault guns, grenades, and rockets, that the ambassador was beaten, sodomized, and dragged through the streets before he was killed, and that three other valiant U.S. soldiers were killed while evacuating personnel from the location? He ignores it because he was the one who ordered those Americans to die. The fact that they still live troubles him. He was asleep getting his beauty rest the night of September 11th, trying to prepare for a tiring day of campaigning for re-election wherein he would fly around the country on the taxpayer’s dime. He didn’t want to deal with a military crisis, so told everyone to stand down so he could get some sleep. This lazy piece of garbage we call Mr. President has done nothing but destroy our country.
