In 57 years you never read Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”? Scrooge says to the ghost of Marley, “You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of an underdone potato.”
Why the same graffito two days in a row? This is not the first time. Maybe it has something to do with the International Date Line. (That’s a joke, son.)

I am 57 years old, and this is the first I heard of cheese causing strange dreams.

The British Cheese Board says cheese-caused nightmares are a myth. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4851485.
I think the myth is a myth.

This hearkens back to Winsor McCay’s “Dream of the Rarebit Fiend” from the early 20th century.
